About the Practice
We are a modern, ophthalmologist led practice with two locations in San Francisco, offering comprehensive eye care alongside cataract, glaucoma, dry eye, refractive surgery, and aesthetics. Our team values clinical excellence, efficiency, and a collaborative OD–MD model.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a licensed Associate Optometrist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an OD who enjoys working collaboratively, medical optometry, diagnostics, and patient education, with strong technician and physician support so you can focus on patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive eye exams and refractions
- Manage contact lens fittings, follow-ups, and education
- Support medical ophthalmology care (dry eye, cataract, glaucoma)
- Educate patients on optical products and clinical services
- Document and code services accurately in the EMR
- Collaborate closely with ophthalmologists and clinical staff
- Maintain high standards of patient experience and clinical quality
Qualifications:
Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited program
Active California Optometry License
Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
Interest in medical optometry and collaborative care
Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-quality clinical environment
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive salary: $150,000–$180,000 per year (based on experience)

Requirements
Graduate of an accredited school of optometry with a valid license to practice optometry in the state of California. Should have experience providing refractive and contact lens services with a high standard of accuracy. Must have excellent communication skills, professional attitude and appearance, and a desire to serve patients with care.
