Job Function: PGY4 Resident

The University of New Mexico General Surgery Residency Program in Albuquerque, NM has a PGY4 categorical vacancy beginning June 19, 2026 due to an unequal number of residents returning from academic development time. Applicants must have completed three years of ACGME-accredited surgical residency training in a United States-based training program in good standing by June 19, 2026. Applicants must currently be actively enrolled as residents in an accredited General Surgery residency program.

Applications will be accepted through April 30, 2026. Only complete applications (containing all documents listed above) will be considered/reviewed.  Applicants considered competitive for the position will be invited for a virtual interview with program leadership.
