About Excel Eye Center:

Excel Eye Center is a physician-owned, multi-specialty practice dedicated to providing exceptional eye care throughout Utah. Our team of ophthalmologists and optometrists works together to deliver comprehensive medical, surgical, and routine vision care using the latest technology and evidence-based medicine.

We are seeking a compassionate, patient-focused full-time Optometrist to join our collaborative team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an optometrist who enjoys practicing at the highest level of their license while working alongside experienced ophthalmologists in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases, including glaucoma, dry eye, diabetic eye disease, and other medical eye conditions
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for cataract, refractive, glaucoma, and cornea patients
• Fit specialty and soft contact lenses as appropriate
• Collaborate closely with ophthalmologists and clinical staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Educate patients on eye health, treatment options, and preventive care
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to an outstanding patient experience

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school of optometry
• Current or eligible Utah Optometry license
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• New graduates and experienced optometrists are encouraged to apply
