Are you a skilled and passionate retina specialist looking for a rewarding opportunity? Our well-established and thriving retina practice is expanding, and we are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in the beautiful Rio Grande Valley of Texas.

We are a premier and reputable eye clinic dedicated to providing comprehensive, cutting-edge retinal care to our diverse community. We have 2 clinics only 6 miles from each other. First clinic however is in Edinburg, and second clinic is in McAllen. Both clinics boast advanced Technology. Second clinic is complete eye care Center including modern optical. We have dedicated support staff. We offer immediate high surgical volume, strong referral networks and opportunities for cutting-edge Research and Clinical Trials. We have cohesive team of one retinal specialist and Two Optometrists, all of whom work collaboratively to maintain a supportive and professional environment. Incoming Retinal specialist will be supported fully from day one with a well-trained staff, modern equipment, and a seamless onboarding process. The new physician will participate in a shared call schedule.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Retinal Specialist located in McAllen, TX. The Retinal Specialist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various retinal and vitreoretinal disorders. Daily tasks will include performing retinal surgeries, administering treatments such as laser therapy and intravitreal injections, conducting patient consultations, and maintaining detailed patient records. The specialist will work closely with other healthcare professionals including optometrists, ophthalmologists, and primary care physicians, to ensure a coordinated and comprehensive approach to patient care. Will be sharing calls with retinal specialist. Surgeries will be performed at DHR, only 1.4 mils away from Edinburg clinic.

Requirements
Fellowship-trained retina specialist, skilled in medical/surgical retina, Board certified/Eligible
Motivated, Extensive knowledge and experience
Excellent diagnostic skills
Strong patient communication and bedside manner
Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals
Commitment to continuing education and staying updated with the latest advancements in the field
Valid medical license to practice in Texas
Fluency in Spanish is a strong asset as a significant portion of our patient base is Spanish-speaking.
